PIRATES OCT. 3 TAILGATE AT NEW PRICE CHOPPER

A tailgate party prior to the Oct. 3 Platte County versus Kearney football game will be held from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the new Price Chopper location at Kentucky and Platte Falls Roads in Platte City. The event, sponsored by Wells Bank and originally scheduled to be held at their parking lot at Marshall Drive and Hwy. 92, was moved after the game won an online poll and was selected Fox 4 television station’s game of the week.

Our Mission

The Quarterback Club exists to support and promote one of the most successful football programs in the country, The Platte County Pirates.  We were founded as a way for parents, alumni, businesses and community members to be involved in helping to support the great Platte County Pirate Football program.

A few ways that the Quarterback Club supports the football program:

  •         Provide high quality game film for coaching staff
  •         Provide Team T-Shirts for summer camp
  •         Support and help provide fees for summer 7 on 7 tournament programs
  •         Pay for player's names on back of Varsity and Junior Varsity jerseys
  •         Provide the decals for helmets
  •         Coordinate and help build sideline and yard sign helmets for each Senior Pirate player
  •         Purchase supplemental equipment, training supplies and coaching staff clothing
  •         Provide coordination for drinks and/or meals for team at home and away games
  •         Contribute additional funds needed for expenses incurred during playoff season

Get Involved

The football team works year round to improve their performance on the field.   We can work to support their efforts and show them that the community is behind these great young men.  Please see the page called Get Involved to see how you can be a part.
