The Quarterback
Club Golf Tournament raises funds to support the Platte County Pirate football
program in the following ways:
- Provide
high quality game film for coaching staff immediately following each game
- Provide Team T-Shirts for summer camp
- Support and help provide fees for
summer 7 on 7 tournament programs
- Pay for player's names on back of
Varsity and Junior Varsity jerseys
- Provide the decals for helmets
- Purchase supplemental equipment,
training supplies and coaching staff clothing
- Provide coordination for Drinks
and/or meals for team at home and away games
- Contribute additional funds needed
for expenses incurred during playoff season
You can get involved in the 2008 Golf Tournament in the following ways:
1.
Sponsorship - Sponsors receive a placement signs and are listed
on the Quarterback Club website as well as listed in the materials given to all
of the golfers and mentioned at the awards dinner. All Sponsorships are tax
deductible.
a. Hole
Sponsorships are $100 each. A hole sponsor will get a sign placed on the course
during the tournament with their company or personal name.
b. Cart
Sponsorships are $50 each. A cart sponsor will get a sign placed on one of the
team carts that will be part of the tournament.
c.
Combination Hole and Cart sponsorships are $135 each.
d.
Gift/Contest donations. A donation of a special prize for a contest or gifts to
be given to each golfer can be made.
e.
Food/Beverage donations: You or your company can sponsor either drinks, snacks
or the post tournament dinner.
2. Bring a Team or sign up to play:
Playing in the tournament is $85.00 per person. We have a limit of 30 teams and
these will fill up, so sign up soon.
3. Volunteer: Plan on helping at the tournament or on one of the teams leading up to the day. Sign up on the volunteer page, or by e-mailing Quarterback Club President Lee Stubbs at plattecitizen@kc.rr.com. You may also call him at 858-4807 or 858-5154.
