District Assignments out for 2009 and 2010

Platte County is no longer a Class 3 Football team.  The shuffling of classes and sizes has taken place and Class 4a teams begin with an enrollment of 770 students.  3A nemesis Harrisonville as well as last year's State Quarterfinals victor Grain Valley both move up to 4A as well.

Platte County will be in a district with the following teams (4a District 15)

Staley High School (New North Kansas City School District School) Coached by former Harrisonville Coach Fred Bouchard
Westport High School - Interscholastic League
Central High School - Interscholastic League

District 16 will be who the District 15 champion will play in State Sectionals:  District 16 did not change and is made up of:

Kearney
Excelsior Springs
St. Joseph Benton
St. Joseph Lafayette
